Fuji Touring IV 24" $300 plus ship

Time to pass on another find. Serial number FL306249 - possibly made June 1983. There are some cosmetic paint and decal (RD) damage. All original as far as I can tell.
If you want a good steel touring bike - this is it. Priced lower to avoid Ebay. $300 plus actual shipping rounded upward to the next $5.

Hmm, wow, cool.

I'm guessing the brake levers are not original, but whatever.

Questions:

--- are the wheels 27" or 700c?

---if 27", would the brakes adjust to 700c size?

---seat tube measures 61 cm c-t?

---top tube measurement?

Bikes: Was Fuji and got my grails (Pro, Pro SR, Design Series, & Ti). Now I hunt 50's and older road bikes.

Stock wheels would be 27", but I converted my Touring Series V to 700c with some Barlow Pass tires. It's a hoot to ride and would only be better if I could fit fenders with these tires.

I cannot get to the bike now but can answer some of the questions.

99% certain they are 27" wheels
24" ctt on seat tube - making it approximately 61cm
57cm ctc along top tube

Is the paint damage just nicks and scrapes? I can't tell from the pictures if the top tube paint is very damaged or not.

Yeah, 2-3 years ago for me. I would have loved to have a Touring Series at that time.

GLWS!

Ok, I checked the bike again. The wheels have 27 x 1 1/4" tires. Oddly enough I installed 2 different 700c front wheels and the cantilever brake pads still struck exactly on their brake surface. The pads seem to lower as they come closer to the rims and the 700 rims were narrower.
The paint as a few very small nicks, though there is a penny sized scrape on one chain stay, no drive side. The decals, mostly on the top tube, have the script worn off. On the top tube near where the drop bars would hit, is a dent. The dent is smaller in size than a dime and less deep than the dime at it's worst. I will try to post couple pictures tomorrow morning when I can get it out into the sunshine again. The three integrated cable guides on the top tube are in good shape. There is the slightest touch of rust on a couple bottle cage bolts on the bottom near the BB shell. The wheels are just shy of perfectly true - should be easily adjusted.
I'd give the bike an 7.8 out of 10 for condition, mostly because of the small dent. Without the dent, perhaps 8.5.

The dent is most clearly shown in the second picture of the decals on the far right. Two other top views are shown. While I did spot the scrapes on the head tube in the light; the dent looked a lot smaller.
