Well I am pretty sure I will be doing it...I will register for sure. My wife just gave birth to our second child so it will be determined closer to the time if I can get away for a weekend but I can't see that it will be a huge problem.

I am all ready too...I just finished my Neo Exile so showing up with a different bike (since I haven't ridden this ride with the same bike twice) will be no problem.

We are planning on it...but the economy or lack of a critter sitter are still wildcards. Half tempted to do it on the Big Dummy this year, just to give the Amish folks something to drool over.

I've got a better bike this time, so looking forward to it. Also to ice cream and those amazing massages at the finish. But yeah, funds will have to be creatively allocated....ugh

no info on the site yet....I am guessing somewhere around $50-60/rider? I haven't done it since '05.

For $50 or 60$ dollars they would have to give me a massage and lap dance after the ride.
It cost me $30 in 2004 and $15 in 2006, my guess is that the cost was $15 for the registration and $15 more if you want the T-shirt.

You might have a mod attach a year to the thread title...

I went last year. Really well put together ride. If I remember correctly, I paid $30 for it which was well worth it. So much food, drinks, and assistance provided. Good times... though... Lancaster wasn't as beautiful as I would have hoped.

I wanted to get the ball rolling here early to see who was going and to try and hook up perhaps - I know there has been a BF banner and whatnot before....I'll probably wear my jersey this year.

$30 sounds great - I was thinking of the North Fork Century here on Long Island which is about $60 - which people always bark about, for obvious reasons!

I registered last year, but didn't make the ride (but have in the past). I still have my receipt though. Registration online was $15.00 + $3.00 active.com fee. So basically it was $18.00 for the event online. I think if you decide to register via mail-in forms it was $20.00. These fees do not include the event T-shirt (which if you choose to buy is around $15.00). It's an excellent value either way as far as event rides go. Seriously, we have BF members from all parts of the country attend this puppy, so that says something itself.

Simply put, BF people are just fun to meet and ride with, even if we don't all finish together. We make a great effort to meet up prior to the ride. If it's the Saturday social ride, or the sign up area of the event itself, you will meet a bunch of good folks. Like I said, I was really upset I missed out last year. Mostly because I felt I missed a good ride with a bunch of friends.

Dex,

Congrats to you both! Super cool news fer sure.

Best o' luck, and I'm going to dedicate the last mile of the ride to you & yours.

It shall now be known as the Dex-stretch. Big ring up front, small ring in back. (52 -12 in my case)

We had a terrific time last year and look forward to another this one! Aided by my O-50 jersey, I had the pleasure of meeting a couple of you. New bike here, also, a Cannondale Six 13 1 in the can't-miss-me After Burner Fade color scheme.

Yes, I will most likely sign up for it as well. I have done much of the farmland down there, this would be a nice addition.
