Road Cycling “It is by riding a bicycle that you learn the contours of a country best, since you have to sweat up the hills and coast down them. Thus you remember them as they actually are, while in a motor car only a high hill impresses you, and you have no such accurate remembrance of country you have driven through as you gain by riding a bicycle.” -- Ernest Hemingway

Unfortunately, that requires the "Hulu with live TV" plan. I do think Netflix has something with only using a single tier of content.

Yes. Checked his litter box. I think he’s peed twice. Gave him his liquid pain med before the anti-spasmodic pill to keep his urethra open, so he didn’t protest much.

Oh good. Is his pain med cherry flavored? That's what they gave my boy, which seemed... odd.

I've heard this is common with male cats. My guy drinks lots of water, does that help or is it not related. Years ago a friend told me he salted his cat's food to try and get him to drink more.

Sadly it is common, yes. Heathpack would know better, but my boy got his within weeks of moving to the heavily-calcified water of central Texas. I really really doubt that getting them to drink more, via salt or otherwise, would help. If the stones or crystals form, they'll cause blockages, and depending on type they may not be dissolved by diet. That's when you get into the surgery.

Today our mayor said all city parks will be closed on Easter.
He also said hate crimes against Asian people will be fully prosecuted. That's a thing now.

I was recently there and found a tree I believe I'm related to. One presumed PA ancestor must have been named for the Union general (he was born in 1863). Only it's spelled George McClelland, not George McCellan.

Don't really know much about my heritage. Mom's parents came from Germany. I was born in Cleveland. That's about it.

I do 99.99999% solo without Covid. The last group ride I went on was 2016 and it barely classifies since it was a “race”

Pushing myself until I’m about to puke is my way of unloading the stress from the day. I’m also out of shape and don’t want to hold anyone back.

I haven’t seen an increase, but the close passes seem more egregious now. Had a guy buzz me in his giant ram a few nights ago and then back up at a corner to try and knock me down

There's a lot at Ancestry.com, obviously. I searched around on the internets an lucked out on my surname line as it had already been researched back to the 1500s. There are serious genealogists out there.

The counties in AZ are giant, though.

Oh.

I wasn't buzzed, but I had a Dodge roar by by this evening causing the ground to shake and man I love those guys.

Good thing there aren't many. 99% of them have no idea what the left lane is for on a highway.

ORLY? I don't know that I've even been in the state. What do they do - park themselves in the left lane like most in the midwest?
