Road Cycling “It is by riding a bicycle that you learn the contours of a country best, since you have to sweat up the hills and coast down them. Thus you remember them as they actually are, while in a motor car only a high hill impresses you, and you have no such accurate remembrance of country you have driven through as you gain by riding a bicycle.” -- Ernest Hemingway

Valve stems with flappy bits to keep the tire inflated during sealant checks - exciting stuff!

I have pair of these an really like them. Comfortable, holding up well into their 2nd season & reasonable ventilation. I had a Boa issue with them last year so I went to the Boa website, filled in their form and they sent me new replacements. In the mean time I was able to get the originals working again and they're still working so I have a backup pair if/when the originals fail.

I ordered the Torch 2.0 shoes for myself and they got lost in shipping, the only pair I could find in my size too. And I rode a Roubaix last year with 105 and it was really a nice ride. The Di2 should be even nicer. Have fun with it.

Some long sleeve base layers in preparation of cooler weather riding. My current ones are just cheap cool-dry shirts which are fine but the sleeves ride up about 3" above my wrists when on the bike.

New saddle. Fizik Antares Versus Evo R1 Adaptive. Ridiculous name, but we'll see how it rides. Seems good after one short ride. I didn't realize I needed to buy different hardware to attach it to my seatpost. These rails have an oval cross-section, whereas my old Fizik Arione has round rails. $12 adapter from Ritchey did the trick.

Nice saddle... looked it up -- yeah the 7x10 rails aren't that commonplace.

I'm liking the Pedro's Slick Wax.. but frequent applications necessary. Going for the value sized option

Bought myself a brand new bike for my 30th birthday. Upgraded my 2018 TCR Pro 0 for the 2021.

Was lucky enough to find one in stock. They're pretty rare nowadays.
