@bicievino it is certainly going to be tough to beat your starting age! Congratulations and hope you one day hold the record for oldest tandem age, you could probably enter that into Guinness Book of World Records.

First phase tandem career (with girlfriend)
22 + 18 = 40
Fast forward 35 years, resumed tandeming a couple of years ago! (regular stoker my eldest daughter)
57 + 11 = 68

Tandem Age, beginning and now
When we started riding tandem we were 92 and now are 140. Tandem bike riding has been like Valentine's Day and GroundHog's Day combined. We are now on our 4th tandem. We started with a Burley, moved on to a Co-Motion Cappucino, then a Co-Motion Sky Capp that we rode for 18 years and now riding a Co-Motion Carrera.

We are right behind you Mgellman ! We started at 67 or so and now at 133. We are also on our 4th Tandem. Started in 1989 with a Santana Arriva, then in 1992 a Rodriguez, a 2006 Cannondale and now a 2021 e-Landshark.

We started at 79 and at 129 just got our second tandem - which cost 7 times the original from Bike Nashbar! Not a fair comparison just an interesting observation.

My first tandem I was captain at 15, my brother the stoker was 13, tandem age 28. We rode to school.
Current tandem age with my wife as stoker is 125.
