The Mother of all Vintage Bicycle Notched Lockring Tools, look if ye be unafraid
Condition: Used
“Very Good Condition, much power remains”
This mystical implement has come to us from a time long past. Forged by dwarves in the fiery underbelly of the igneous mountains, this unholy relic will address your most chaotic evil bottom bracket lockrings. Carved into its living iron, runes: a shield encircling a U and the cryptic, coded message 80208. Bid only if ye be worthy to wield such power. While I am not able to confirm any magical powers, I cannot say it does not possess them.

Maybe this goes here and maybe not. On first blush it's a beauty then when you read the description the owner honestly mentions the fork being lost in a crit crash. So, now you have a C.F. framed bike that was in crash bad enough to ruining the fork, would you trust it?
Asking $1600 but it's been in a crash!

Arguably the world's most informative ad.
What else could the seller have said that would help a buyer know this is what they need??

If I had room for both of these and the time for two more projects... I'd still avoid them.
Tulsa Tough Competition Bikes
Tulsa Tough Competition Bikes
Tulsa Tough competition bikes made especially for the race, you won't want to miss out on this collectable item! Used in the race and purchased after, these bikes are great for someone who wants to train for the race. Very light, I can lift one up one armed. 20 inch frame, 28" wheels, PayPal or cash only, pick up in Jenks. I'm happy to schedule a time for someone to see them, no holds unless you're willing to make a deposit via PayPal. I have two of these bikes for sale, $350 EACH or best offer. I'm willing to sell as a set or individually. One bike's seat isn't in as good of condition, so make me an offer!

Actually, cat-litter bucket panniers are YUGE in the commuter community. Not exactly waterproof, but a d@mn site nearly so. Easy to clean out, rugged, etc. Good way to re-use hardware from old dead panniers with good hardware but clapped-out nylon/material.
It's more the host bike in this case that's WW material.

When life gives you lemons, build a tandem!
I can't see how the forks of the rear bike are attached. I tried but can't seem to get photo editor to work. If someone can blow the photo up, it might be entertaining

Sooooo...Ashtabula fork spread open 10-15mm per side, bolted to a stamped DO eyelet tapped for a #10 bolt. I'm not sure you can cold set the fork ends on an Ashtabula fork, and I wouldn't trust my teeth to a pair of #10 bolts and nuts that are tasked with:
- not shearing with 75+ lbs focused on them
- Resisting the tension of the Ashtabula fork ends trying to stay in line with the splayed fork blades.

Judging from the brake calipers being set above and behind the tire, I'd guess the fork is somehow bolted to the eyelets on the dropout. 😬

Makes me wonder how many bicycles you could do this with . . .

Probably worth a few bucks, but not two grand. "An old England bike." Wonder if he'd sell me just the Pletscher for $500?
