Hello and welcome to the forums. Is this a 10 speed type bike or a single speed? Either way you should be able to get parts at any decent bike shop.

It likely has more value to John Deere memorabilia collectors. Pics?

.
...if you peek at that link to the Google image search, you'll see the dilemma.
I had a John Deere bird feeder once, but I left it mounted on the post when I moved.

By then, the god damn squirrels had figured it out.

John Deere never made bikes. They just had them made, slapped Deere colors and decals on them, and viola! You had a John Deere bike! Parts were relatively generic, with the same sources of other bike parts. Given the age, direct replacement parts = ebay. Getting parts that aren't a direct match but function fine = find a nearby co-op. Take the bike with you.

As far as value, all the JD bikes I have seen were low end, department store "quality". The value as a bicycle is minimal. But the value to a John Deere collector will be better. The trick is finding one of those people. They are out there. I bet there are several FB groups for John Deere collecting.

This forum is a great place to find bicycle collectors, but not to find John Deere collectors.
