Rusted hitch for Adams trail-a-bike

I received an old Adams Trail-a-Bike for free, and it seems to work fine except that the receiver has rusted together with the trailer. So to install/remove the trailer, I have to remove my seat post and loosen the bolts to slide the receiver off my seatpost. Has anyone successfully loosened a rusted-together trailer bike receiver?

I would recommend just buying a new receiver off Amazon.
Another option would be to watch FB marketplace; you can probably find a junked trailer you can swap parts out on.
