No. the Nyala was a pretty basic bike. $300 Seems outrageous for $500ish bike that needs an overhaul.

Rare Cinelli Centurion #62 vintage road racing bike - $400 (Hendersonville)

An incredibly rare Cinelli Centurion road bike having serial #62. Made in Italy. Most of the reading on the setup of these by the Cinelli team are described as having Campagnolo parts. This one appears to have been all Shimano 600, though a Suntour Sprint rear derailleur is in place. The frame has all the expected Cinelli embossing as do the forks. Measuring 24 1/2" the traditional frame crank to seat post. Stanover is right at 34". This bike was made for only one year. In Hendersonville. No texting land line phone.

Something iffy about the TT and the rust spot on the DT. Possible collision?

There might be a slight downturn in the TT 1 1/2"- 2" behind the head tube junction. Or not. That combined with the problem area on the down tube could signal a frame problem.

https://offerup.com/item/detail/1398441079 - What is this bike? Serial number does indicate 1957 - But it looks like a 1984 Tempo

I'm quite familiar cause I own one and am a fan...BUT even with "tons of Campy" I don't think this is a realistic price, and that Modolo stem is not a selling point, either (those have a rep for breaking).
If anybody here pursues it I'd say offer half the asking price, and it's maybe at the newest a very early '80s frame, no way from the '90s, but serial number (brazed-on the LH seat tube plate) would say for certain.

I think he wants $500 for the pair. If it last the week I might drive down Saturday and check it out. I’m thinking it looks like 60? I’m thinking the Cannondale is worth $300 as is? I’m assuming I’ll have to buy the pair though so $400?

Vintage Cimino 10-speed racing/road bike - $300 (los gatos)This is a vintage Cimino 10-speed road bike meant for racing, which was purchased for $1000 back in the 1960s. It's been ridden in bike races since then but hasn't been used much after roughly 1980. It's in good condition, and free of rust and damage. It's been carefully stored over the years. Other than that I don't know much about it...it's pretty much the average size of any 10-speed. Come by and look at it, no obligation to buy. Serious inquiries only...please show up if it is arranged.

I had the same thing happen to me on the light blue Bob Jackson $200 posted a few weeks ago. After we settled on a price and a deal I called him for payment details and he sounded really nervous and hung up on me before I got payment info. Texted me 1 hour later and said the new price was going to be $1K but would do $750 for me. I stuck to my original offer and never heard from him again, The CL ad stayed posted for another 3 weeks. What are you going to do?

It's an '84 alright, but it's a World Sport, not a Tempo. The relevant date codes are stamped in very tiny/faint numbers on the head badge. And please don't take what a casual seller says at face value. Note the keyword spam:

Schwinn,Schwinn Track Bike,Schwinn Beach Crusier,Schwinn Race Bike,Vintage Bike

Thanks Clang - Aha, I originally though World Sport (searched them first) but could not find a corresponding image. I know not to trust sellers, but, I had started to trust Serial number databases. The Serial number is what was weird to me, that number typed into the Schwinn Serial number database spits out 1957 (which obviously felt wrong).
Here's the question I should have asked - Is that data base (bikehistory.org) known to be unreliable?
