Road Cycling “It is by riding a bicycle that you learn the contours of a country best, since you have to sweat up the hills and coast down them. Thus you remember them as they actually are, while in a motor car only a high hill impresses you, and you have no such accurate remembrance of country you have driven through as you gain by riding a bicycle.” -- Ernest Hemingway

what kind of bar tape does everyone use?

whats a good way to remove reflective tape?

tires could use a replacement soon. There are Kevlar tires on there now. Any recs on tires and tubes?
Probably will need some sort of derailleur adjustment but maybe just minor if it was already set up good. Plenty of videos on youtube if you've never done it yourself.

I like Fizik microtex bar tape but you'll get a different answer from everyone.

Continental Grand Prix 4000 are a popular tire choice and reasonably priced but you'll get a lot of answers on that too

Droooling!!!! Everytime I see a Saeco, I want one...

I have 97 (Super Black with Teal Pearl) and 98 (Tropical Green) CAAD2 bikes, and 2006 (Fine Silver) CAAD8. The ride of the CAAD2s are a thrill, but both had RSX 3x7 on them, though the 98 has a 105 triple. My CAAD8 has a mix of SRAM (Red crankset, Force shifters, and Rival mechs), that is a real joy to ride. And all feel like rockets compared to my 86 KHS roadbike (updated to Shimano 105 5600)...

AWESOME bike!
It's a rocket. I have one a few years newer, and it's a total beast.
