didn't see a thread on Page 1 here, so thought I would post it.
Detailed reading or just scroll the pics.
Kinda novel, IMHO. The old decoupler idea was short lived. Like suspension stems (tho being revisited again, I read).
It raced the Dauphine, so UCI legal.

Looks are probably polarizing, but shaving 1.1 lbs on the Ultegra version is pretty nifty, along with the claimed 19 watt savings @ 30 mph. Curious how the ride is compared to the old one.

Not the prettiest in the Peloton but looks very business-like. My first impressions were negative but it is growing on me, I don't dislike it any more and the spec's suggest it should be a fast bike, which is all that matters when suffering in a race.

Why does Trek keep coming up with these unique design elements that only last a year or two? From aero wing front brake caliper covers from a few years back to an adjustable iso zone top tube from 2021, now we have a flying seatpost above a big hole. Thankfully routing the shift cable through the frame tightly around the BB is a thing of the past since it appears to be electronic only.

There’s fully internal hose and wire routing through the new stem which features a sleeker interface with the redesigned spacers, headset, and top tube.

That's going to be a 1-2 year "prototype" that eventually gets 2 more seatstays from the main seatstays to the tailbone. Or not. You can use your own term for the hole under the tailbone.

Maybe they should sell hard plastic saddle bag that snaps into that opening for those who don’t ride 25+mph to benefit from the reduced air turbulence near their seat area.

I have no love or hate for Trek (never had one) but gotta admit... I think that's sexy. If the engineers managed to improve comfort without sacrificing performance, reduce drag without too much added weight AND give it a slight supercar vibe, that's impressive.

Wish I knew this was coming out last October when I bought my 2022 madone.
I like the way it looks. The seat situation worries me a little bit. I’m not sure if I had the money I would rush out to buy one. I would like to test ride one though.
I think my current madone is very ugly in pictures. In person, it looks so much better. Not sure why that is.

Was just looking at the white version of your bike. I think it’s a good looking bike.
Maybe it’s not the bike, but the photographer. 🤔
