Maybe you'd like to see how they got to this point before making a judgement call:

Shilling a book on the forum with barely 100 posts to one's name - and then using really rude language to others - isn't exactly the attitude we need on this forum.

I have friends that also write books - people do - some get published, some don`t, some are great, some less so - not enough bike books around for my taste so the more the better.

I`m afraid there`s no excuse for waiting to pounce on a guy when he starts a new thread - thats just a petty ambush. Riding bikes for the hell of it should not be limited to those we like or not, its all good.

Perhaps the original spat should have been left where it was, but the OP left the door open for criticism and apparently can't take it. Moreover, they have shown their true colors as a result, painfully so, as they're using these beautiful bikes to gain acceptance and mask their very nasty attitude. Nice bikes or not, this sort of attitude has no place on this forum.

Disagree. One reaps what they sow.

I did not get the feeling anyone was hiding anything in this thread - its a fine example of why a lot of enthusiasts have been turned off from posting as lifes just to short..

This is just to help you and also meet you...
Nothing else...
It is rather you with your sales logos on each of your messages that make the sale pure and simple...

Fair enough.
No, it's not "pure and simple." I haven't done anything of profit on The Headbadge website (or anything else with it) in years. Even the valuation service was there just to sticker shock those who would otherwise spam my inbox asking for free valuations.
Nothing on the Bike Share Museum is for sale (it's hard enough to get those suckers in the first place). That's why it's a museum. So yes, very pure, very simple, but somehow you've misinterpreted both of them.
