It was cold this morning. Day 2 of new job so I didn’t have enough time for anything more than a short one. Wife and I spent a few days in the Catskills last week and committed to putting our phones away- it was great to be unplugged.

I believe we as a country have lost the thread. Dennis Prager, who's famous for some reason, announced that he has COVID, after intentionally trying to get infected:
So, the ENTIRE POINT of acquiring immunity, whether by vaccine, or "natural" is so you don't get sick. You can get a free vaccine, which costs the USG $20, and has a very favorable side effect profile and has killed very, very few people despite being administered to about 80% of the adult population of America, OR you can catch the actual disease, which has killed over 700,000 Americans, and over 4 Million worldwide, and hope that the therapeutics - which are very expensive - keep you from severe disease - which is ungodly expensive to treat - or death - which generally comes after ungodly expensive treatment..
But remember, the ENTIRE POINT of acquiring whatever kind of immunity is SO YOU DON'T GET SICK.
It is infinitely preferable to have natural immunity than vaccine immunity and that is what I have hoped for the entire time. Hence, I have engaged with strangers, constantly hugging them, taking photos with them knowing that I was making myself very susceptible to getting COVID. Which is, indeed, as bizarre as it sounded, what I wanted, in the hope I would achieve natural immunity and be taken care of by therapeutics. That is exactly what has happened.
But remember, the ENTIRE POINT of acquiring whatever kind of immunity is SO YOU DON'T GET SICK.

So, as I suspected. It looks like the Sram update bricked my front derailluer. Been reading multiple accounts, exact same symptoms and behavior. The memory is corrupted somehow. From what I've read it can happen to either derailluer, front or rear. So far, no remedy is forthcoming.
