As mounted on the last picture with the second generation of Shamal and measuring 181 cm (6 feet), knowing that I wanted a missile for both flat and slightly hilly, it weighs 9.5 kg ( 19,8416 lbs). And braizing with 30% of silver.
The one I have for the mountain with the same type of construction weighs 7.8 kg (15,4324 lbs)

I only said once in the forum that I was writing a book about this framer who, in view of his work, is certainly in the top 5 or 3 in the world and not only because of the quality and finish of his work, but also because of the fact that he only made 300 or so frames in his entire life.

The frames are exquisite, of course. Thank you for posting the pictures, Alexandre. Top "5 or 3 in the world?" Probably room for debate there. I've seen lugged examples that are just as nice, if not nicer. And if your ranking is not only based on the quality and finish, but instead on the number of frames someone has built in their lifetime---then there are certainly more than a few contenders for that prize. By "close to this level," not quite sure what you mean. But personally, I'd take my SC over one of these, lovely though they are.

You still have a lot to learn about the construction of a frame, and not only the differences between a handmade frame and an industrial frame...
It is impossible for an industrial brand to produce frames with this level of detail, for the simple reason of selling price....
Or you don't know the difference between an apple and a pear. It has two different shapes and two different tastes just in case...

The comparison between a handmade frame and an industrial frame (as you call it) is not an apple and a pear but more like a polished apple and a washed apple. They both taste the same however one is shiny.
