Negative aerobic decoupling number?
On long fixes (c. 200km) I’m getting a big negative aerobic decoupling (the latest is -15). How can that be?

Google negative aerobic decoupling. It's normal for endurance riders. When I notice that's happening, it means I need to take in a bolus of carbs. That pops the HR back up. I don't know the mechanism. I don't know that sort of decoupling is necessarily a bad thing, but I just don't like to see it. There aren't that many PhD Physios who ride brevets.

Riding in a group? I'd suspect your group is a fast group and that when you are on the front, you are pulling like heck and when in the group not having to expend nearly as much effort.
