Atala Professionisti
1973 with help from juvela
I think the model is correct from the sell sheets I have. I'm a bit unsure as it was a give away to bike shop employees where I worked during college.
Details of original configuration
Columbus SL
Full Campy Record except brakes (Universal 61)
TTT stem and bars
High flange hubs with sew-up rims
Bottom bracket not installed but have in original Campy box
Numerous Campy chainrings
Atala team jersey - a mountain version - long sleeved wool
Original sales literature & riders card from Pierino Gavazzi(Atala team rider, who presented me the bike when he toured bike shops after the 1982 Italian Nationals)
The bike was a special edition for the promotion so a bit vague on specifics.
Condition rough
The no crank arms or rear derailleur they went to my Guerciotti Jet frame build.
A local shop is going to take a look at it and 2 other bikes in coming posts. I have no idea what it might be worth.

fascinating background information
cycle appears a good deal earlier than date mentioned for its receipt - no doubt a sound reason
incomplete machines are always a challenge for appraisal
shall look forward to reading what the experts have to relate...

That was what I thought as well. As a promo it may have been old stock rejuvenated but the headset, seatpost, and tubing stickers all validated what I was presented. Pierino spoke very little English and my Italian was minimal at that time. Today I speak Italian food words pretty well and my waist shows it.

on Rizzato products the serial is placed on the side of the seat tube just below the seat lug
the first two digits of the number are the year of manufacture

These bikes look great, and I have one that just needs restoration. I'll probably look into this one; any idea where I can buy parts for them around Nevada? Besides I love bike rides through Sunrise over Fallujah, this is a story I see in real life from here I read https://freebooksummary.com/category...-over-fallujah and now I simply want to be there. Besides that I prefer to listen to summary to books, I am glad I can find them from this source absolutely free.
