Road Cycling “It is by riding a bicycle that you learn the contours of a country best, since you have to sweat up the hills and coast down them. Thus you remember them as they actually are, while in a motor car only a high hill impresses you, and you have no such accurate remembrance of country you have driven through as you gain by riding a bicycle.” -- Ernest Hemingway

ask yourself this, what does it matter now? he bought the bike, apparently he's happy with his purchase. what are you trying to accomplish by telling him he bought the wrong bike over and over? do you want someone to say you're right so you can feel validated? regardless, pcad knows how to play the forum game much better than you since you're the one getting wound up.

We'll see about that.

But ultimately, isn't it better for BF if I'm unhappy with my purchase? Consider the Epic BF Potential of a Pcad Decides to Sell the Addict to Procure a Super Six or S3 Frame Hand Wringathon.

When you and your wife are 50+ like Pacman, the lovin can't be that good, not to mention done with the aid a little blue pill. Not to mention he can buy a 10 rolls of new bar tape for what a dozen roses costs.

I don't dislike you, you just come across as an Internet Genius who doesn't have a lot of real world experience. Will my experience align with the guys who I know who love the bike and all the positive reviews I've read or with the negative ones you have read? In the end I test rode this bike for 20 minutes before and loved it, and rode it for < 2 hours today and liked it less. Like I said, it takes me a MONTH to make a decision about a bike, so I learned long ago that superficial test rides are pointless. You buy the bike and you take your chances. For every negative review you can link me to, I can link you to three positive ones, plus I know several locals who ride the bike and swear by it.

So tell me slothy, do you even own an actual road bike and do you actually ride it in the real world?. How many road miles have you logged in the past five years? Just asking since I've rolled up SIXTY THOUSAND of them, so I figure I do have some actual EXPERIENCE with this bike crap. You know on the roads and in the races we're all on BF to share about in first place.
Why do you guys correlate me being new here with my age or experience on the bike and my knowledge base? I have been riding for many years although I am young and put in thousands of miles per year but don't obsess about mileage. I focus on effort, speed and fitness. I know first hand that your Cervelo is and always be more comfortable than any Scott. It is the nature of the engineering. The RS or the TCR and Synapse would be better back ups to your S2 IMO.

i feel bad, you obviously havent been on many forums. stop trying to show people what you know or to prove yourself. if you know what you're talking about people will figure it out. if you keep making a big deal out of it we'll just pick on the insecurity that your posts are screaming with right now.

I know, you're a shill for pcad, trying to get this thread to twenty pages, right?

If not, are you familiar with the phrase "beating a dead horse"?

Silly me. Even I, having only been visiting BF a short time, should realize that pcad doesn't need the help.
