I made up my wish list earlier this week. Among the requests were gift certificates to my favorite local bike shop, Velo Orange, a Park workstand, Brooks saddle, and some bike tools. Time will tell whether I get all, some, or none.

Merry Christmas to all. I'm looking forward to reuniting with an '82 Bianchi over the holiday period.
I hope everyone has their wish come true but some are more important wishes than mine - good luck puchfinnland in your wish for employment.

Probably most of the people here haven't posted to this thread yet because they are counting only 3 more sleeps.
Boy, won't THEY be surprised when they wake up on Dec 22nd, and frantically start making up their Holiday wish lists.

Merry Christmas! Can't say I really want anything for myself this year. Finished 4 C&V rebuilds for people at our church during the past month.
The last was for a 13 year old girl that we've somewhat adopted. Took her shoe shopping Sunday after church. Her first time EVER getting a new pair of shoes. She's always gotten hand-me-downs or thrift store purchases. Also took her to an optometrist last week to get an eye exam then to pick out glasses and get them ordered. And did a few upgrades on an old laptop we had laying around for her so she could use it for her homework. Tonight I'm delivering a mattress and box springs so she won't have to share a bed with her older sister any more. Her parents are good, hard-working people but just don't make enough to do more than survive in SoCal. It has given me a very different outlook on the whole "present" thing this year.
