Riding bikes has made me learn to appreciate a great sunrise, and I really love them, especially watching them from on the bike. Today was the first time I ever felt obligated to stop and take a picture, hope it's ok to share it here, can't get over how beautiful it was.

I've been reading The Rider by Tim Krabbe recently, it's certainly a good one. I also really enjoyed Boy Racer by Cavendish.

It looked disgusting, but omg it was one of the best things I've ever eaten in my life, which may not last the night with all the grease I consumed.
that is absolutely vile. i can't believe you optionally put that into your body.

He guys. Hope all is well.
I had a private message about Modo and his passing and came here to see how everyone is doing. Tragic, really. At any age. But it made me think of my daughters.

My life is still really really good. I think I've found that good place of being truly satisfied with what I have and who I am.
No time to ride though - raising teens still. Both work and in school. So I'm either at my house cleaning, repairing, redoing, or taxiing someone somewhere - only to turn around and taxi them back later.

Also met a nice lady close to my age. She's an aerial artist performer and teacher, yoga and Pilates instructor, and has been in a few tattoo mags.
We've been dating a few months now. But just recently became exclusive. I kinda like her a little.

I always run into my training/riding friends and they beg me to come back. But I think it's going to be a couple years before everything settles good and I can enjoy it again. I really want to though. I miss it. I have gained a whopping 10 pounds that'll need to come off.

I somewhat agree with you, but my feelings are much less strong about it. Since I cut my meat intake back drastically about a year ago, I've felt immeasurably better energy wise. Not vegetarian, not vegan, not going to get on a soap box, but when I see pictures like that it just reminds me of when I use to eat meals like that and overall didn't feel as good on a day to day basis.

I still eat bacon at times, though.

So last week I took my brother to see Suicidal and Slayer. He hasn't been to a concert in decades. Well here's one to open him back up to.
Huge mosh pit. Guys fighting all over the place. And I'm picking up bloody guys off the floor. I'm thinking this will be the last concert we go to together like this. Maybe, Lionel Ritchie or something. But by the end of the concert my brother looks like someone goosed him with an adrenaline shot. And he hasn't stopped talking about it.

It's never too late to have "firsts" in our lives. I could tell y'all a few I've had since my divorce, but this is a PG forum and I need to mind my manners.
Plus I think the government is tracking me online.

Close to my diet as well. Can't remember the last time I ate bacon, maybe six months ago?

Sometimes you have to treat yourself though, plus its waki approved!

We have a pretty big storm here, or what people in the North call 'Tuesday'. Our yard is on a slope towards the house so water collects and floods the garage. Dug a pit and installed a sump pump on the side of our house, these things are awesome.
