Back in the stone age when wheels were first invented and it still had what we would call today "irregularities", but which at that time was the norm, was it not called a wheel?

As I understand it W' is the amount of work in Joules that you can do before exhaustion. W'bal is essentially an estimate of "matches burned." There should be an estimate of W' under your overall curve on your power page. I think if you plug that number in in the settings, it will do W'bal for you. I have read that this measurement is tricky to do right, so this must just be a rough estimate. My W'bal sometimes dips a little below zero, which is obviously impossible. However, it clearly behaves the way I feel and I like seeing that I didn't leave anything on the course.
What's Type III fun?

I'll have to poke around more for the W'bal - thanks. That does seem like it'd be a tricky, tricky thing to pin down.

Hey phrantic09 - did you end up getting one of those Rapha hoodies? If so, have you gotten it/what do you think? I did not, but I see that they still have some Large available in decent colors. Complicating matters, though, is that they've now got a steep discount on the Explore Technical Hoodie...

Ive always thought or the body like a bicycle wheel. It starts off in fine shape, smooth bearings, true, shiny, etc. and gradually, it starts to wobble or run rough and the mechanic or doc puts it right and it rolls on again until the next time it needs attention. But eventually, spokes break, races fail, rims crack, or whatever and the wheel has run its last revolution.

Shimano freehubs are held on with a sleeve that threads into the hub. It requires removing the cassette, brake disc, cones, ball bearings and axle to tighten with an Allen wrench, then reassemble.
