X0-1 Clone by Handsome Cycles (XOXO) is back again...
Last time they made this, the frame was Reynolds 631, this time they are using Reynolds 520. Just thought you all might be interested. Geometry copy for the old Bridgestone X0-1, including 26" wheels and threaded fork.

I wanted one, but not since this came together. I had a white xo-2 with the moustache bars and to me it feels very similar. Very playful offroad and the good kind of flexy when you're trying to make up time on the roads.

I saw that too and meant to post a thread. I’ve been real tempted to get the Devil frame, which is XO 1 inspired but in 700c. Price on the XO is $600 but maybe a deal considering the rarity and popularity now of the original.

The XO is taking preorders. A couple months ago I bought their single speed frameset at a discount on eBay and a few days later they cancelled saying they didn’t actually have it in stock. Kind of annoying as I’d bought a threadless headset for it that I otherwise can’t use. They did say they’d honor the price when they had more in stock around May time frame. I guess they’re having backlog with their Asian suppliers like everyone else.

Too bad the reboot xO isn’t R631 again. My RRA 2017 is and the ride is wonderful!

I would have liked one but really wish Handsome had taken some liberties with the tire clearance. I know that it's a homage to a very loved frame and there is something to be said for keeping everything original there, but with the recent revival of options for 26'' tires, I think it's a shame that the limit is less than 2''. If it would accept Compass Rat Trap Pass tires, I might have pre-ordered one.

This thread deserves a bump.
I'm looking for either an original Bridgestone XO-0/1/2 or maybe into grabbing one of these XOXO copies.
Now that people have had them for a while, what's the consensus?
thanks

Has anyone wound up buying one? I'm seriously considering one.
Does anyone have a bike review? I'd love to know subjective takes.
I'm 5'8-9", usually ride between 53cm and 56cm bikes, so I feel like I'm in between sizes here and not sure which to maybe get -- likely the 53cm but interested in takes.

I figured I’d rather have an extended seat post and stem than to be on a bike that might be slightly too big. I’d likely seriously regret getting one that’s a hair big and I didn’t want to explore that idea further.
I usually have my saddles set around 69-70cm if that helps?

it won’t ship for another 1-3 moths, so currently unknown! But I suspect I’ll like it just fine. I took all of my bikes for rides and decided that I definitely prefer a more compact bikes, so it looks like I’ll be putting a 56 on the market soon.
Handsome made this bike last about 10 years ago, but the run was very limited. I read a few impressions and reviews here and there, and they were all exceedingly positive. I don’t have any concerns about the quality of the bike or the ride and I think that you’d likely be happy as well.
tbh, I didn’t really want to buy another bike, but I came to realize that I’d have regretted missing an opportunity to own a bike like this if I’d skipped the chance. I have been hunting for a 53 XO for years now, so this is as good as it gets and I’m perfectly okay with that.
Handsome also made a 700c variant, the Devil, which is similar if you’re seeking reviews.

It may be a wonderful riding bike but to my eyes that is a singularly ugly fork for a "Handsome" bike.
