Rare Vintage Campy Triple Chainset

Early 80s Campy triple chainset and BB, barely used, overall excellent condition, 52/42/36, no scratches on crank arms, 68 BSA bb 120mm triple spindle. I might be parting out a bike, wondering what might be a fair price, pedals not included, bb plastic sleeve not Campy(Sugino). Lousy pics but really nice and clean.

BB assembly appears to be R rather than NR, suggesting chainset may be a bit earlier than written

Jim Merz offered 30T & 31T chianwheels for these

For the potential buyer, can you take pictures or the drive side areas of transition spider to arm.

Yes that is certainly a possibility, I don't know how to check it, judging by the bike it came on.

Based on some recent sales I would say close to $250 on ebay with BB and $50 or so for the pedals. It is pretty rare to see one of these crank assembles with matching BB pedals, chain rings and dust caps in good condition. Great find also if you have the Campy long cage RD and triple FD can be worth some big bucks if your parting the bike out.

Not sure if this is what you wanted but here you go. Also took pics of scratches/flaws that I can see.

I think what people really want to see is the inside of where the crank meets the webbing. This is where cracks develop and breakage occurs.

Stunning example from what I see. And, pre-1972 based on the lack of a year stamp
