So I was having debate here with a fellow about how he thought SRAM derailleurs were junk because some sticks got jammed in them and they broke. Low and behold the heavy hand of moderation banned me for a week for debating that with the guy.
Did anyone else in that thread get banned for trying to point out that sticks were the problem not the brand of the derailleur?

Seems like this thread is designed to get you another ban.

I remember the thread. I did question his logic and didn't get banned. All my SRAM mechs have remained stick free, so not yet junk.

2.) Why would I have been told to leave for debating about a derailleur?

When someone quotes you, it's kind of hard to claim you didn't see it. You get a notification. And I'm sure the moderator sent you a pm explaining why you were banned.

But I'm in a good mood today, I'm going to excuse you this one time and give you a break, no banishment for the PM violation this time. If you wish to discuss your last ban just PM me, but we will not discuss it here. I hope we are clear.
