It's not something you see all that often. It's very hard to put a realistic value on it, but in today's weak market, I would say a bit over $2k. It looks to be my size.

Overall... If I was looking to buy, I'd consider listing at 1100eur, but willing to take less, 900-1000eur. De Rosa has a value.
Of course, the local market, "cash in hand", and the desire to sell, all have an impact.

Well, it's super-clean, has the right tyres, but could be improved as the new owner chooses. Its' a smokin' bike as far as I'm concerned.

I’m not selling the bike, but I’ve made a few changes since the pic. I replaced the freewheel with a smaller one, metal r/d cable and black cloth bar wrap. The tires are what I had in hand, but I’m ordering a set of Veloflex tires.

Never say never, after three days of riding this I have come to the conclusion that my body cannot handle a 54cm frame. If I decide to sell this, what would be a realistic price? Thanks

Told you it was too small. I'd start at at least $2k/shipped/PP, maybe $2.5k. You can always come down. If I was younger and still riding, I'd give you $2k for it.

jiangshi You are only touching the bike at three points. As long as you can make the pedal to top of seat right and the seat to handel bar reach, and drop right, your body does not care what the frame size is.

Honestly, this is one of the stupidest things I've ever heard stated as a fact. You are telling me that a bike with a 50cm stem rides the same a a bike with a 140mm stem?
