Mystery craigslist bike; Raleigh?

Past experience has proven bikes stored outside should be avoided. But, I just cannot resist the potential to find a gem in the rough. This photo is from a Craiglist post for a Cannondale. But look to the right of the blue Cannondale. There is a mystery black bike with what looks like a Campy downtube shifter and maybe Campy pedals. Is that a Raleigh sticker on the left chainstay?
Whats going on with the seat stays? I emailed the seller. See what happens.

It says Raleigh on the chainstay.

Maybe a Competition with a replacement fork?

I think it’s a Raleigh Competition G.S. with replacement fork and stem. Good luck! I suspect those are as much fun as the earlier Competition Mk. II. Raleighs brought back from the dead are my specialty these days, it seems!

The pedals and down tube shifter look like Campy.

Campag or no, the black pedals worn by the machine are not OEM. original equipment was NGS road which was offered in silver only.
