Trek's Bike Archive

So, how come Trek haven't updated their archive beyond the 2017 product line?

I would ask Trek? Probably haven't had the time or interest maybe? I know Specialized sometimes has older models that are easily found on their website clouding up new bikes and confusing customers.

Might be you are getting to the archive via a old page that is still active but not updated any more. If you go to this link, you can select the year and then you'll see all the bike models for that year. Sometimes googling gets you active pages that you otherwise couldn't find a link to if you go in the sites front door.

https://www.trekbikes.com/us/en_US/bike-archive/

However I don't know if this is different for Treks sites for other countries or regions.

Trek's archive is really not that helpful. I wanted to lube the rear free wheel and tried to get the model of the hub used on a 2006 model (nothing on the hub). All they had listed was "alloy hubs"

You didn't read the note in the red stripe near the top of the page trek page did you.

Looking for info on a pre-2010 model? Visit our time machinehere.
Though that doesn't get you much further back.
