Road Cycling “It is by riding a bicycle that you learn the contours of a country best, since you have to sweat up the hills and coast down them. Thus you remember them as they actually are, while in a motor car only a high hill impresses you, and you have no such accurate remembrance of country you have driven through as you gain by riding a bicycle.” -- Ernest Hemingway

Just got done watching Togo on Disney+. It's worth a look, it went straight to Streaming on Disney+. It's about a husky that lead a team to get some diphtheria vaccine to save the kids of Nome, Alaska in 1925. Quite a victory for the team.

Speaking of Huskies and victories, it looks like Washington is going to beat Boise state. Just made it 24-0 in the third quarter.

I was cleaning up the basement after a big, over-pressurized, tire with a fresh load of Stan’s blew off the rim.

Getting ready for our Festivus ride. Festivus is actually tomorrow so Festivus Eve will have to suffice.

I have switched from the Cannondale eMTB to the much lighter (and somewhat pricier) Pivot Shuttle XTR. Sub 45 lbs. which for an e-MTB is like a 14lb. road bike.

The site has been wonky with quote links and a temporary fix involved closing the older thread and making a new one. Do I need to say it LOUDER?
