Ghost X camera charging

Can anyone share any tips or tricks about charging a Drift Ghost X battery? I bought a Ghost X several weeks ago, used it sparingly and can not seem to get the battery recharged. Help!

pull the battery, hold down the power button as if you're trying to turn it on. Put the battery back in & try recharging.

*assuming the cable & outlet unit is in good working order.

Make sure you use the short cable that came with the camera. I tried charging with a longer cable and my GhostX will not charge with it.

I've had no issues using the long cord that came with an old external drive DVD-RW. I have used various "fast charge" wall outlet units from various smartphone brands with all positive results.

Awesome! They are good units, just that they have some weird quirks at times.

I don’t know what was up with that long cable. It worked with other devices, just not with the GhostX. I use the short cable and a old cellphone charger and the GhostX sits nicely on top of it while plugged in to the wall.

The only mini usb cable I have is the one that came with the camera, that’s what I used. It also allows the camera to rest on the wall charger during charge. Neat package.😎
