Gitane Grand Sport Deluxe. What’s the worth?
Could someone tell me about how much this bike is worth? I’m pretty sure it’s from around 1975?

Value depends on several things. Condition of the bike, size, location, make and model. To that add the seller's marketing skills, coupled with patience until the right buyer comes along.
What I see, in the OP's picture, is a lower end bike in poor condition.
The paint is chipped in multiple places with rust showing through where chipped, Though hard to tell, the wheels appear to be mis-matched, always a poor sign to most buyers. The harsh tread tires are not what most buyers would want. The cable casings appear to be cracking, thus lowering the eye appeal of the bike and requiring replacement. The rust seized chain needs replacing. The pedals are missing dust caps. The saddle looks to be in poor condition. Handlebar tape is another price lowering visual.
Would I buy the bike? Perhaps but not without an in person inspection and even then, I would not offer much.
All that said, and none of it was intended to offend, chances are the seller could get between fifty and a hundred dollars for the bike.

final year for the transfer set worn by the machine is 1973
cannot be earlier than 1971 due to shift levers
if it is the Gran Sport Deluxe model then the wheels, chainset & saddle have been changed
the Gran Sport Deluxe model came through with Normandy Sport large flange quick release hubs rather than the small flange solid axle hubs we see on the cycle's wheels
value as-is at yard sale ~45USD
value as-is in classified advert ~65-70USD
machine's importer may have been Mel Pinto Imports of Virginia

Not trying to offend but I would not even pay $20 for this bike. Rear rim is alloy front is steel with rust. Seat is ruined as leather cracking and tearing at rivet. Kick stand- stays crushed? Surface rust all over the frameset. Based on all this I’ll bet derailleurs have corrosion all over them too…is the new crankset French threaded or did someone force it on. Original was cottered . move on to another gitane in decent shape unless there is some underlying reason such as nostalgia.
