Thank you! Much appreciated - I bet you would and be much more proficient at it than me. . Will try'n keep you posted about the build progress (maybe in a differnt thread). Currently in the process of spreading the rear triangle to fit a 130 mm hub.

Quick update: Ordered parts (chainring, BB, DT shifters). Turns out i marred the BB threads on the NDS - Need to visit the LBS and get them recut. Already stripped the threads on a Hollowtech

An angle grinder will do it quicker and better than a Dremel - you really want to grind a relief in front of each cutting edge to give this a better chance of working. A DIY thread chaser will help clean paint or rust but with thread damage you'll likely find it difficult to start the thread in the right place and keep it square. A proper bottom bracket tap set makes it a lot easier and your friendly LBS shouldn't charge much to do it.
