Looks interesting. Can you get more pics? If it has Campi dropouts, is your size and $400-500 it seems like it would at least be a good rider

This one has internal shifter cables. He says he's not sure if is Athena or Chorus gruppo. Possibly can have him send clearer pics on the bike.

Whats it worth? . I know depending on variables,
Yes, I think fits , but will have to check. Different bikes fit different.

It’s a nice bike, I’m guessing some variation of Columbus SL and that Chorus group. However it isn’t a big name marquee like De Rosa, Bianchi, Colnago or even Trek and Raleigh.

without a starting point I’d offer $450-500 and quickly add that it needs some work. It probably needs an overhaul and possibly a chain so that roughly $130-150 if you can’t do the work, and even if you can it’s your time and that’s still worth something.

Thanks for info.
anyone know anything on this brand or model.
I'm a bit of collector, just wordering if should add to collection. He also wants to take the brooks, which would be ok. I think he wants 600 range, no brooks.. we will see thanks again and in advance if any more info on the model/brand ..?

if he’s taking a $100 seat off there certainly should be a price adjustment

this might be helpful. Olympia, Main

Founded in 1893 by Carlo Borghi, Olympia is the second oldest Italian bicycle manufacturer still making bikes today (Bianchi dates from1885)."
"In 1959, the firm was bought by two bicycle makers, the brothers Antonio and Pasquale Fontana, to compliment their other, less exalted marques. These included Winter, Willes and San Remo. Olympia gave them an opportunity to compete with the best bikes on the market. Frame builder Augusto Daniele built their Competizione model, which was equipped with the top Campagnolo components. It featured carefully filed lugs, excellent torch work, short, upright geometry and…l.

I think it's a very nice looking bike. I especially like the chrome and engraved headtube detail. The Campy C Record seatpost is worth a little bit on its own.

As a keeper, I would consider $600 A DEAL for this bike, without the saddle. Just be sure to keep the seat post. The color and tasteful use of chrome makes this one a WINNER in my book. I'd probably go even higher if I had to. Seat posts can see for $100 to $150 alone. So getting one later will be costly.

Special bike here. The average vintage bike value is down, I have not seen the special stuff drop much at all.

Go to a local bike shop, and the bottom end new bike, with an aluminum frame, crap bottom components, will cost $1000.

When I see a bike for sale at an attractive price, I don't negotiate, I just pay their asking price.

Judging from the details on the frame,, it looks like a top of the line model from Olympia
Depending on what tubing was used on the frameset, it could be worth much more than the $600 estimates that had been suggested. If its an SLX or 753 frame or better, then you might be looking at a bike worth close to $1K.
the high spec Chrorus gruppo mounted on it really helps on overall value too.
