This one looks like one of the rarer ones as it looks like it needs minimal work. Oh, and it has all that Dura Ace stuff too......

interesting ad.

Perhaps seller doesn't want to see an old friend junked (or maybe the frame is just a wreck....)

I owned this before I sold it to the current owner. Unfortunately, he changed out the beautiful original Ofmega crankset, pedals, and saddle. The fella before me was the original owner and used to do hotel touring on this bike all over the west coast.
Just my opinion, but this is one of the more attractive Treks I've seen. Usually they have a meh/bleah look to them. If this one was shined up with the same level of group as the patriotic one above, I'd take this one. I like the color and the simple ST decal. That's just me.

It's a fantastic bicycle, and the cinnamon color is awesome. Besides that inappropriate replacement crankset, the one flaw is some missing paint on the top tube from sweat dripping from the original owner's chin. It's a difficult color to touch up. I tried without success. The new owner should just remove the paint in that area and embrace the patina/history.

Front rack is installed incorrectly. Perhaps it wouldn't clear the fork.

Serotta Atlanta - $1,200 (Cambridge)

Vintage Serotta frame fully overhauled and rebuilt with modern groupset. Tubing is Serotta’s Colorado Concept from Reynolds. New chain, chainrings, cassette, cables, housing, bar tape, and tires. Serviced, tuned, and ready to ride.

Complete Shimano 105 5700 10sp group, matching SPD pedals included, 50/34 crank with SRAM 11-28 in the rear. Wheels are handbuilt, Mavic Open Pro laced to Ultegra hubs, tires are brand new Serfas Inertia 28mm, saddle is Specialized Ronin, stem is 3TTT, and handlebars are Nitto Noodles.

The frame is named Atlanta to commemorate Serotta’s having made bikes for the US Olympics- the Men’s Road Race was won on a Serotta that year. This bike is a sweet spot in modern steel, handmade with comfortable geometry and clearance for wider tires with the lugged fork (as opposed to Carbon equivalent). It climbs like a dream and soaks up rough road like it’s nothing. Steel is real, this one’s fast, light, and fun too - let me know if you have any questions, thanks for looking.

Best, Ben
The seller sells out of a tiny garage maybe 8' x8' and the sidewalk and lawn frontage to the street. He stuffs around 30+ bikes into it on the daily. I told him I was coming for the bike and when I arrived the Windsor was at the bottom of the pile. Once it was improperly yanked out it was immediately apparent the seller had swapped all of the campy parts out to other bikes around the garage along with the TTT bar/stem and brake levers. After calling him out on it he reluctantly started the search to find all of my missing parts on bikes around the garage but couldnt find his allen wrench to remove the wrong crank arm bolts while laying the bike on its side on the sidewalk. After more disagreement the FD and RD were swapped all the time saying he no longer had the stem, bar and levers - the bike now had a steel stem. chrome bar and safety levers off of a 80's Huffy. I spotted my stem and bars on a mid level Bianchi about 30 feet away on the lawn.

Got the swap going eventually but he was upset apparently because the original levers (Universal) were gone and he said he didnt know where they were and the bars now had Campy Record levers. He was now holding the bike hostage and wanted $70 more for the Campy levers. I at this time just wanted out of the neighborhood and talked him down to $50 so I could leave. The cable and housing didnt fit the Windsor and he offered to cut pieces of housing off of other bikes to make it fit - I am not joking. This was while my bike was top tube leaning on rough stucco wall. I ended up paying $300 with the Campy levers and left.

This guy is located blocks away from Watts in Central LA and it was not someplace that I felt at all comfortable being in due to some past experiences many years ago around that area by mistake when I worked for Raleigh NA. Also I need to say I tried many many times to get the seller to meet me in a safer location and he refused. I even offered to pay him significant cash to meet me elsewhere and was refused including in front of a nearby police station. Also on a side note as I was leaving he tried to sell me some watches - What he described were all high end European watch brands. I continued walking to my car and he said he would text me pics but I never received anything.

LeJeune 'Cafe'?
Vintage Le Jeune French bike with 26 inch tires. Options to deliver. $2850– Located in the Powell area but near Dublin, Columbus, Marysville, Plain City 21384, Worthington, Westerville, Delaware, Lewis Center and Hilliard. 6one four 3zero 2 thirty seven eighty one.

At first i saw an overpriced French Hi-Ten frame, but then i looked at the components and began to doubt my judgment. Then i saw the stamped rear DOs and what looks like a weld bead at the BB shell and calmed down. My best guess is that someone made this bike exactly what they wanted it to be. Ofmega Mundial crankset and what looks like Simplex SLJ shifters and derailleurs.

'82 Trek 728 Tourer - 24" large - $700 (Belmont)

Lightly used 24" 1982 Trek 728 touring 18 speed. Other than the Suntour Superbe brakes and levers and the Specialized 28mm Touring II tires, fresh cloth bar tape and hoods, and new Christophe toe clips and straps the bike appears all original. There are a few cosmetic blemishes which I believe are mostly captured in the photos but I see no dents or dings in frame. All components are functioning as they should. Tires are older but hold air and appear to be in relatively good condition for their age. I would recommend new tires if this is going to be a rider. See Vintage Trek Bicycle Catalogs and Bike Brochures, Fisher, Klein LeMond for additional info. $700 or best offer.
