Addiction 2022.2

Notices
Road Cycling “It is by riding a bicycle that you learn the contours of a country best, since you have to sweat up the hills and coast down them. Thus you remember them as they actually are, while in a motor car only a high hill impresses you, and you have no such accurate remembrance of country you have driven through as you gain by riding a bicycle.” -- Ernest Hemingway

I'm going to be the lone voice of... maybe not dissent, but at least caution. "Cheap" is relative and, more so than other tires, a lot of people seem to buy Contis at brick and mortar stores. Your friend may have paid $80+ each and may think that he's doing you a favor selling them at $50, which would be higher than the going rate online. Now, if he's tellin' you 20 bucks, yeah - giddyup.

Though, sadly, the days of $73/pair from PBK seem to have passed. Now it's $80 a pair.

For another $20, you can get the 'Transparent' with the brown sidewalls.

I just checked PBK and it's $80 for a pair of 650 tires, the 700s are $98.99.

I'll find out what he wants for them next time we ride. He won't try to make money on them, he's pretty generous.

The biggest Buc-ee's will be the one VV comes to love and cherish. Hell, he'll be able to ride laps around the parking lot time trial style.
