Here is my 1973 MASI Gran Criterium built in Italy. It's probably one of the last one's built in Italy (not Alberto's) before production continued in CA. The lugs are beautifully filed and the paint/ decals are original. One cool feature is the Pino Morroni bottom bracket installed at the factory. I purchased this from the original owner. It's one nice riding bike!

Hey hey, a Nuova Strada appears among the sea of GC's!
I will add my '88/'89 to the mix. Built up with full 7400 Dura-Ace, something it should have been spec'd with as the catalog showed it available with nearly the full Campagnolo range or Shimano Sante. Sante is nice, but Dura-Ace is where it's at. Love the ride the SLX-SP tubing gives. Cinelli Criterium (65-series) bars are also where it's at.

Hey ROS, that looks like my old frame! I owned that(or one that looks exactly like it) a few years ago. Great riding bike, but I had other things going on so I parted with it. Nice work!

Man oh man, would that be a gorgeous bike to behold still today. Cd'A and a lot of C-Record era design is some of my favorite. Really really sorry that happened. That would stay with me, too. Did you ever try to replace it later on?

1992 Masi 3V Barcelona Olympic
Finished assembling this bike over the weekend with a combination of C Record and Chorus 8 speed. This model commemorates Masi victories at the Olympic Games.
An interesting quirk is that they mis-spelled Los Angeles. I haven't had a chance to ride it yet.

I did buy a bottom bracket for one last week. That bike, a 1973 Italian GC will be less than period correct, IRD 50/34 Campagnolo "look" crankset.
I do like the "Barcelona" over the top graphics.
