Freewheel hubs screw on to the hub - and is typical for single speed, but also used for up to 7 speed and the majority of hub motors. If there is an 8 speed freewheel, please provide me a link to it. I don't think it exists
Cassettes slide onto the hub - 9-11 speed bikes use a cassette.
(FYI, if you stick a removal tool on a freewheel, it will not spin with the cogs, while on a cassette it will spin with the cogs. In the latter case, the hub is "free").

Uh, no. I think we have a language problem here.

Here’s another on eBay.
Guess they’re kind of new and were manufactured with e-bikes in mind. Have read that the technology is much improved over original freewheels that were limited to 7-speeds. Now kinda wish I’d purchased a freewheel model myself over the cassette hub, as would be easier to replace should Bafang’s hub ratchet mechanism ever fail.

I have three torque arms sitting here good for my bike’s alloy fork: two Grin Tech TorqArm_V2 and a V3. V3 possibly stronger but necessitates hose clamps so will probably go with the two V2.

Thanks! I've been looking for something like that for the better part of a decade.
I'm thinking most ebike freewheel hub are designed for 7 speed, so check that rear dropout spacing and axle length. From what I have seen, the hub motors for cassettes are skinnier than the freewheel hub-motors because a 7 speed freewheel is narrower than an 8 speed cassette. So far, I've just put a single speed or 7 speed freewheel on my hub-motors.
Good point on the maintenance on maintenance of the Bafang cassette ratcheting. That, and the wider freewheel motors are going to perform slightly better.
