attempted to visit just now and it seems to be gone or down

do not want the flickr pages - need the actual museum site

does anyone know what is going on with it?

Sorry, can't help. Can say though that I'm a huge Speedplay fan. Bought-in early on with the all aluminum puck version pedals. Had the 1st gen MTB pedals too. Been using them ever since.

ifrc, Richard wrote on CR the website was a part of the sale and use the Flickr for seeing stuff. Unfortunately I think we are sol. I also prefer the museum over Flickr.

There was a lot, lot more there than just Speedplay history.
