Today this evening, a dodad to help me finish my Specialized Globe conversion. Going from V brakes to canti. I needed a rear hanger for the cable. Tektro USA had it and shipped quick.
This is a seatpost collar and swing cable stop in one.

Here's a few useful things that showed up recently. I actually had to go pick up the lathe, but it was the first one I've found for under a $100. Seat post clamp is likewise something I've been looking for, and the full size chain whip is one of those things I should have picked up before.

Some new stuff for the tour later next month. A pair of MKS Allways EzySuperior pedals, a rinko-style quick-release pedal, Schwalbe Aerothan spare (if only anybody had the glueless patches needed for repairs in stock), very grippy bar tape and a Hue Signe table lamp. Because I like smart lights in my home.

I think my hands are sort of getting tired of the cotton. This is the thin stuff though, as far as Fizik is concerned. The blue is going on the Bertoni, and the honey is going on the Miyata.

Weinmann front brake cable
Fantastic still packaged front cable "Schwinn Approved" for my Paramount build....
They threw in this sticker - a great old bike shop that unfortunately shut down last year, and they're selling off what inventory remains...

My nicest Pro came with rims that are blue like this.
I wasn't paying close enough attention when I bought it so was surprised when it showed up.
Originally not a fan but they grew on me despite never having put the bike together for the shipping damaged that killed the project so far.
It has been several years now.

They came in yesterday but I guess that's close enough to today.

Not really in the post, picked up this 1955 Automoto Champion du Monde frame from 63rickert earlier today. We only live a few blocks apart, so it was an easy grab with my Schwinn Speedster and old Burley trailer:
It's going to take some work to put this back on the road...
While hunting around for examples, I found a nice one on eBay and snagged the pix as documentation/evidence of period correct (if not original) components:

Bumped my head.
Nothing, its Sunday. But, I got some stuff coming tomorrow. New Trail Kings, and a few small bits to finish the 930.

size is not too far off. I’m not a racer anymore so loose is fine with me. Hanging out with my Campagnolo equipped Raleigh Record Ace...and the kitty!
Thanks Miguel for the Jersey!
