So i offered 600$, and lesft my phone number, he called back, that's CAN.
the guy was going crazy with the number of people contacting him.
custom made for him in 1998 he says.
"old bike, just upgraded to a full carbon Argon 3 years ago, it's been in the locker sinve then"
Looks like full Chorus 8s
few scratches but otherwise good
A few quick and dirty pics

Beautiful bike at a great price! Looks like the Freuler geometry with the extended seat tube.

I’m having mixed feelings on the seat lug. Definitely the prettiest ugly thing I’ve seen… if that makes sense. Whatta deal at $600, how was the maiden voyage?

Excellent deal.
I won't do a "bidding war" on Craigslist. But, it is not uncommon for me to hand a seller an extra $20 or $40, or just round up to the nearest big bill, and we both leave happy.
When I was car-free, I had a cheap CF frame that popped up on Craigslist. I had a meeting time and location. And, took off on the bike. Halfway there, I got a text from the seller that he sold it out from under me (and for about the amount I was probably going to hand the seller).

Oh, and please don't just relist the bike on Craigslist for $1000 without doing anything to it. I find those people so annoying. Do those people show up for an appointment, then lowball the sellers?
Value added, sure, but otherwise share the wealth.

I like my Campy Record 11s parts (white label), although some people seem to think bikes should have silver parts.
I do have a few Shimano parts including brake calipers and wheels.
