Have Guerciotti Don't Know Year
I have this old Guerciotti, maybe it’s a sprint style road bike. Anyway to determine year? I think it’s early or mid 70’s

Definitely not 1970s. Frame features would push it into at least the late 1980s while components suggest early 1990s.

Thank you for the info. I looked at a picture of a early 80’s model and that is much much closer to what I have.
just trying to see what I have here.

...you can probably narrow it down some more by looking for date codes on the components. Those look like the originals that came on the bicycle, and there's a specific time period in the 80's when Campagnolo was selling their 8 speed rear stuff.

Strange combination of "nicely appointed" and "neglected/abused". I agree mid-to-late 80s to early 90s. I have a 1984 Guerciotti frame that was a Ten Speed Drive (Miami, I think) import, and it has a similar fork crown (though fork chromed, along with both chainstays), the same brake bridge (a Cinelli type), but a different chainstay bridge. Since OP's bike seems to have no graphics, it may have been repainted.

I have a feeling at least some components were put on just to “get it out the door”. I’m no paint expert but I’m thinking it yes, it has been repainted. I’m starting to look closer into the rust spots. Had to remove some paint but it looks kinda nice to me after scrubbing away some rust.

Poor bike. Nice brake calipers and crankset

Yeah, I feel kinda bad about it. I’m considering breaking it down and cleaning it so I can store it inside. Hopefully do something with it later. Thank you

Wow, what a poor example. Might be a early 80's. Here is what mine is like, but it is great condition and a beast of a bicycle. Looks like yours was spraybombed with garbage paint. Too bad.
