Rear Shock Type

I'm now putting myself in the market for a full suspension bike, but limiting my budget to under $3000. I realize some of you may say my budget should be more, but this is where I'm limiting myself for my first full suspension bike.

I have done some research on two types of rear suspension that I'm looking at.

Specifically on bikes:

https://www.bikesonline.com/2022-pol...on-mountain-bi

and

https://www.giant-bicycles.com/us/trance-29-3

My understanding that bikes like the T7, when braking fast could make the rear wheel push the rear shock in, thus creating a bit of instability. Is this correct?

What are the benefits of having the style or design of the frame on the Giant over the Polygon?

Thanks!

Actually, wish I could have this thread deleted. IF it all possible admins, please delete, it doesn't appear this is a good thread to discuss.

I researched more on the different setups of the rear suspension and made my decision to go after the Giant bike.

Thanks!
