Renault Bikes
I saw this posted on FB market and have never seen one of these or even knew they made bikes. Could make a nice little light gravel/trail rider, maybe add some drop bars and brifters? Just wondering if they are decent?

You could google it and see if anything pops up. They did sponsor a TdF-level bicycle racing team back around 1980 so they may have produced a line of bicycles, too; if they can build cars they can build bicycles.
The bicycle in your picture doesn't look like a hi-end variety - the brakes and bb/crankset are both look to be less-expensive types. It would probably make a good bicycle for short commutes or neighborhood riding.

Well the Renault team wouldn't ride Peugeot bikes now would they! 
When I google Renault bicycle, most of the content is about a small folding bike made in China.
I wonder if it's steel or aluminum? Another image in the listing shows a sticker with all this Chinese writing on it so it probably manufactured for that market?
I might check it out just to see what components are on it and see what the frame material is.

I know I shouldn't make a statement like this without doing the research and testing them out but I just don't see myself buying a newer gravel bike frame design. I like what the independent companies are producing, steel frames and that C&V look but adding modern components, like the Surly bikes.
Cost might be a factor though

I have owned a lot of bikes. Bianchis, Colnagos,Merkx, Hampsten custom, 3 Steve Rexes, and many more. I could see a custom steel gravel bike.My current ride is a 5 yo Trek Domane and it's tough to improve on well designed carbon. I am not a weight weenie, but I like the ability to use tires up to 32c and the disc brakes are just too darn good to give up, especially on downhills or when it's wet. I even rode a Rivendell Roadeo for years.

Saw a “Harley Davidson” fat tire e-bike recently. Guessing HD had no involvement in actually making it.
