Weird rules for the group ride

Road Cycling “It is by riding a bicycle that you learn the contours of a country best, since you have to sweat up the hills and coast down them. Thus you remember them as they actually are, while in a motor car only a high hill impresses you, and you have no such accurate remembrance of country you have driven through as you gain by riding a bicycle.” -- Ernest Hemingway

That sucks! You are very persistent so I'm sure you will find these guys. Keep at it.

Right lol, blaming the ride leader for having to deal with someone like me? Saying you wouldn't do business with them? What do you think this is lol

Larry, I think the only viable solution at this point is to dial it to 400 watts, and drope them all

Give them the "look" before you do it, though. That's protocol.

Can you actually drope other riders? I thought that was only for hamers.

Drope hamers.

build guads.

Dial it up like you are a toaster oven.

roughly 19 mph

unless they had been training with power, there is no way they could match your speed.

Give him the look.

slam dance.

*EDIT: nothing to see here. move along.

As a doctor friend of mine said, “A helmet is definitely cheaper than a neurosurgeon”. My other fave is; don’t wear one if you have nothing to protect.

A very good friend of mine went down in a corner not wearing a helmet, hitting her head on the curbing. She was knocked out unconscious and was bleeding profusely from ear and nose and other gashes on her head. She was taken by ambulance to the local trauma center where she remained in a coma for 2 weeks. She had to relearn all basic skills; talking, feeding herself, walking, you name it. She could never return to work after that or ride a bike. After seeing that up close and personal I always wore a helmet. One grave unpredictable life changing event which can happen in a flash is nothing to be so cavalier about, but its your trip.
