Hi all

I suspect that this bike is not in original configuration, but can be year /model Identified ?

Look on the rear derailer cage plates for a date code like "4 74".

Probably it's a UO8 model based on it's features (though could be a UO9 model if the original crank was aluminum).

Looks like you'd bang your chin on the stem reaching for the gear levers.

final year for this AR636 model of rear mech was 1969-70

original chainset was DURAX cottered steel w/Cyclo chainwheels

original pedals were Lyotard model 36 fitted with Cibie amber bolt-on reflectors

original shift levers Juy alloy downtube controls

original stem/bar set AVA or PIVO

original saddle ADGA model 28A

original frame pump Ventolux by Poutrait-Morin

original handlebar wrap glossy black plastic

original handlebar plugs Velox black rubber

may be model UE-8 with mudguards, chainguard & lighting system removed

brochure page ca. 1969 -
