Good video comparing different suspension seatposts
I use the handlebars this guy designed. One thing I don't think he mentions is that spring seatposts with exposed springs are going to collect dirt. You'll need to clean it out occasionally.

Like my Thudbuster; the Body Float (Kinetic now?) doesn't seem to collect much dirt (maybe my fat butt protects it), but I don't like it at all.
