Going past the 4-5 turnaround last Saturday. If you look at my surroundings, you can be assured that I am suffering.

Further up the pass. I am in the peloton:

If the beartooth climb is in those conditions, I'll down at Bogart's with pizza and beer waiting for you to finish.

That looks like a track bike, but that doesn't look like a track that you're riding on. Plus there's the front brake.

What exactly is going on in that picture? Was this a USCF sanctioned time trial?

Hey is that Jacob Tubbs from the Tria Market/Two Men and a Truck team out of B'ham. That is from the Roswell crit right? I heard about the crash but it looks MUCH worse than it was explained. That was also the last turn of the last lap to add to the "suffering"...

how do you get a photo to not have the wheels frozen on a digi cam?

Be basic, I'm a point and shoot idiot but that's always bothered me. Anyone? Bueller?

Pick a lower ISO rating to get longer shutter speeds. Make sure you pan the camera to keep the riders steady in the frame.

Owning an expensive camera does not necessarily make one a photographer.

This was taken by my friend Dave (I'm the guy just above the sprinters line with the blue/white helmet and red jersey):

How cliche of you. Of course owning an expensive camera does not make one a photographer. I could take a great cycling photo with my $50 AE-1...and the wheels would be blurred. And i could do it with my $200 point and shoot. So where did i say you have to go buy an expensive camera?
