The Radical Design Cyclone IV Chubby is specifically designed to carry a folded Brompton.

A Surly Ted will carry a folded Brompton lying flat.

The Burley Travoy will carry a folded Brompton strapped to its upper deck.

Several trailers will carry a folded Brompton secured standing upright.

Dahon Classic II in a Burley COHO trailer
My Burley trailer holds a Dahon folder just fine, I expect it would hold a Brompton equally as well.

My dream is to ride to work with my heavy work rucksack on a trailer then able to fold the bike and bring it into the work buildings in the trailer.
the chubby is nice but very expensive.

I tried to upload a photo of me with a Raleigh stow e way and an Aosom trailer. But i would need to post ten times before being allowed to add a photo.

it would be awkward pulling the aosom into work with a Brompton folded in it.

The Radical Design Cyclone IV Chubby can do that and is designed to be used as a bike trailer (wheels in the center position), a walking trailer (wheels in the rear position) and even as a (big) rucksack (wheels removed) !

Its also lightweight, one of the lightest weight bike trailers.

It fits both for the Brompton and for the Birdy.

Like all Radical Design products, its indeed expensive.

Wouldn't it be easier to distribute the load differently on Brompton, matching what the bike can do? I shifted my load from a car onto a regular bike and then Brompton, with the maximum that I carry between home and work not much changed, I'd say around 17kg.

Thanks Palmer, I wonder if that was secured with bungie cords, will try it!

Yes thanks 2_i, thank you!

I have a Borough bag for the front of the Brompton but want to add a Swytch kit in a few months which uses the same connection point.

Maybe I should just get rid of the Borough bag and get a rack bag and reduce what I carry to work and then maybe no need for the travoy. That would simplify things.
