It is a Cannondale touring bike. Specifically it is a 2010 T1 frame which was the last year that Cannondale made them in the US. They then made the touring bike for only 2 more years. I have a T800 that I bought new in 2003 but changed out every thing…literally as this is a different frame. I have another T800 (probably a 2005) that I use as my every day bike.

I'm pretty sure that's what Bianchi means, white. "Strada Bianchi" is basically white roads. Just playing on words.

Here's my most recent restoration, that seems appropriate for this thread. You can read more about it here on my blog.

This is a one-of-a-kind custom made pursuit bicycle with a 650c front wheel and a 700c rear, with an integrated handlebar/stem. It was hand made by Fernando Cuevas, the third generation of incredibly talented family of frame builders based in Astoria, Queens.

Fernando’s grandfather Francisco hand-built over 35,000 frames during a 70-year career that spanned three continents. Renowned for his ability to build frames without the aid of a jig or pins, brazing exclusively with brass, and incorporating many unique and thoughtful details, Francisco was a true craftsman of the old world.

This restoration took me two years to complete, and when finished, I brought it to the famous Kissena Velodrome in Queens for an afternoon of laps and photos. Read on to learn more about this incredible bike and the Cuevas family.

Happy new day, happy new year, happy new month. January is the month of white bikes, so show your pictures of your white bikes.

Here is an old picture of my 1975 Viscount I converted to fixed gear.

1970 Gazelle Tour de l'Avenir still languishing away in my storage room. I don't know when blue bike month is, but the saddle may get donated to another hunka hunka rusting junk for that thread.

Please forgive this terrible photo of my winter bike - Mystery MTB, in winter spec with studs and bar mitts, near the Natural History Museum the other day. It has plenty of white underneath the '90s sticker pattern it came with. Thinking of painting it one colour this year or just removing the stickers.

Might have posted this '72 PX-10 here before. It's worth sharing again anyway. Got this pre-pandemic from Steve Whitlatch and it's a keeper.
