I just called yesterday to order a bag and they were incredibly friendly and responsive. Guy on the phone said turnaround would be about a week.

sorry for awakening this thread again. but i just want to add how friendly these guys are. there web site wasn't working so i called and the lady was very helpful. talked me down from a xl and looked around while on the phone with me for the specific bag i wanted and put it in the mail that same day, i got it in two days during the x-mas holiday. also, for someone who has breasts, messenger bags have always been a problem for me. they are really unflattering. not this bag, since it rides so high, the strap actually goes above my boobs. man is this bag amazing. and now the boob jokes can commense

to a layman, this:
b is for boobs (obligatory, yet harmless boob joke)
plus
this thread is worthless without pics!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
would equal:
and now the boob jokes can commense
I would think, since dylandom was speaking of own body and was conscious of the interpretations of her words, and therefore opened the door to joking comments, she was also conscious that some subsequent comments would be made in jest.
I quite understand your position J-, but policing comments in this context is heavy-handed and over-bearing.
Now, I do not want to put thoughts in dylandom's mind or words in her mouth, but considering she was willing to risk the pratfall of irony in response to her statements, I would also think that she did so from a position of strength and not of weakness, so I do not see the need to protect her from boyish comments on a public forum.

to a layman? not everyone's a jerkface. but a race to the bottom always ends up in the same place. not to speak for her, but i'm guessing the "jokes can commence" was due to foreknowledge of the climate around here, not because she wanted some F--- to ask for photos.
maybe she's talking about a true problem women have with bag straps? maybe talking about real problems that people have isn't "opening yourself up"? do we make fun of guys when you start the 10 gazillionth thread about hurty taint?
do whatever you want. but if you want women around here, there's always the possibility of respecting us. just a possibility, ya know.
lately this place has been nearing toxic when it comes to ****ty jokes that are a turnoff to certain people. it's neither heavy handed nor overbearing nor policing to call people out for being dumb jerkfaces. it is however dumb and jerky to defend them.
