Cyclocross and Gravelbiking (Recreational) This has to be the most physically intense sport ever invented. It's high speed bicycle racing on a short off road course or riding the off pavement rides on gravel like : "Unbound Gravel". We also have a dedicated Racing forum for the Cyclocross Hard Core Racers.

Suggestions for 2x 48/32 with 11-34 Cassette

Hi, first time newbie build for a light tourer/adventure bike and was seeking a subcompact configuration 48/32 with 11-34 cassette in a *flat bar* configuration.

I wanted to check to see if it is possible to use 105 shifters with GRX -- but open to other configurations that folks may have built or have.

- looking at FSA and other at time of writing... any pointers/steers appreciated.

Richard

Yes I have 105 R7000 shifters and they work great with GRX. I also have a Praxis 48/32 with sunrace 11 speed 11-36t rear cassette.

Thanks Elvo; that's re-assuring and I tthink I will head down this path. We have much less options down here in Australia with supply issues etc so hopefully Shimano should be readily available.

Bikes: Co-Motion Cappuccino Tandem,'88 Bob Jackson Touring, Co-Motion Cascadia Touring, Open U.P., Ritchie Titanium Breakaway, Frances Cycles SmallHaul cargo bike. Those are the permanent ones; others wander in and out of the stable occasionally as well.

Sorry, I thought 105 only came in STI levers for drop bars.
