Most of my riding is done on a road bike (training, racing) and I want my around towner to feel more like my roadie, which I have grown to love. The track geometry on the other hand - I have grown to dislike.

Not looking to drop a bunch of cash on a custom trackie with slack geometry. Could use that money on a nice set of American Classic road wheels, y'know!

If you can find a Jamis Sputnik out there somewhere, it has very road geometry. I think mines 73/73.5

Do I detect a little OCP there? AC wheels look great, light as a feather. Over in the Roadie forum most folks have spoke counts like 18/24. The 32/36 spoke counts here made me think all fixies were ridden by Jabba the Clydesdale.

ya, i do have something up my sleeve. A friend is building me a custom slack geo "track" frame. Basically road geo with fork ends.
